Daniel

Funeral Director, The Co-operative Funeralcare

For Daniel, becoming an apprentice was an easy choice. Despite achieving well at sixth form, full-time education never really suited his personality, so university didn’t feel like the right pathway for him.

An Apprenticeship with The Co-operative appealed as he wasn’t ready to fully leave education, but he did want to start earning. Becoming an apprentice funeral director allowed him to pursue a career where he could really make a difference in people’s lives, whilst facing new challenges on a day-to-day basis.
