We have an exciting development opportunity for an Apprentice Business Support Officer to provide Business Support to the Work and Skills Team. Part of the requirement of the role is to complete an Apprenticeship in Business Administration, alongside developing a range of practical skills and experience as part of a development plan which will lead to a permanent post upon successful completion.
You will be passional and Manchester about take pride in the city and its people. They will embrace working in a busy, dynamic and proactive team, and be driven by delivering the best outcomes for Manchester.
As this has been identified as a potential apprenticeship role, a job offer may be made on development at a lower starting salary. On completion of the apprenticeship you would be offered the substantive grade for the post. You will be required to undertake a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship (unless already qualified to this level in this occupation) and Maths and English skills will be assessed as part of your acceptance on to the apprenticeship programme
You will be supported by your line manager and team, as well as having an opportunity to take part in other development activities in addition to your qualification, to further improve your skills, knowledge and employability.
