A Bury College apprentice is achieving his career dream and progressing his Engineering career as he completes an apprenticeship at Camfil UK, a worldwide leader in the field of Air Filtration.
Joe Fletcher from Haslingden is due to finish his Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance apprenticeship in September and believes he is now equipped with the skills and knowledge to progress directly into employment.
20-year-old Joe is combining his apprenticeship with the BTEC HNC Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which will further support his career progression.
Joe’s responsibilities at Camfil UK involve carrying out maintenance checks and repairs on factory machinery, fitting parts and attending to emergency breakdowns.
The former All Saints’ Catholic High School pupil said of his apprenticeship, “My apprenticeship is really good. I like the mix of gaining industry experience, earning a wage and learning the theory.”

Offering apprenticeship opportunities in Administration, Purchasing, Site Service Technician, Production Manufacturing, Warehousing and Technical Sales, Camfil UK are eager to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team of industry experts.
